SPRING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exxon Mobil today announced the launch of Mobil™ Solvancer®, a cost-effective, oil-soluble cleaner with industry Leading performance can help operators of power generation and petrochemical equipment improve equipment reliability and achieve their goals from overhaul to overhaul. This product was developed in cooperation with Fluitec, an industry leader in oil enhancement technology, and is based on the company's proven DECON™ technology.
Mobil Solvancer is specifically designed for gas and steam turbine applications, compressors, and hydraulic systems. It provides industry-leading performance to support oil conversion, reduce operating problems caused by varnishes, and help extend oil life. The product can be added to the oil in use to help quickly dissolve the varnish and organic deposits in the system, help solve the rising bearing temperature and avoid such things as re-adhesion, deposit transfer, filter fouling and oil flow Clogging and other issues.
The cleaner offers one of the lowest treatment rates in the industry-3% to 5%, and an average treatment rate of 10-15%-allowing you to use fewer products to provide the same level of protection. Mobil Solvance also provides extended protection for more than one year, exceeding the life span of most competing products, thereby helping operators optimize the overhaul to overhaul cycle.
